Privacy Policy — Pattéo

Pattéo is a pet health record: vaccines, dewormers, recurring care and weight tracking. We take your privacy seriously: Pattéo is “local-first”. Your personal data stays on your device; only anonymous statistics and the feedback you choose to send go through our server (details below).

Your data stays with you

All your data (pets, care items and reminders, health record, weight tracking, photos) is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced via your private iCloud account. This data:

• is never sent to our servers;
• is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Photos and documents

The pet photos and vet documents you add are stored locally (and in your private iCloud).

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple (App Store). We have no access to your payment information.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how the app is used and improve it, Pattéo periodically sends our server (api.mesrdv.fr, hosted in the EU) anonymous, aggregated counters — e.g. number of pets, breakdown by species, number of care items and reminders. These statistics:

• are tied to a random install identifier, not linked to your identity, device, or Apple/iCloud account;
• contain no personal data or content you enter (no pet names, no health data, no photos);
• are aggregated (totals only, never an individual user) and kept for a limited time;
• can be turned off anytime in Settings → Community → “Help improve the app”.

Ideas & feedback

If you submit an idea or vote via the “Suggest an idea / vote” screen, the text you write and your vote are sent to our server so we can read and prioritise them. This is voluntary — please don't include personal information. Contributions are tied to the same anonymous install identifier, with no link to your identity.

Your rights (GDPR)

• Opt out of statistics: disable them in Settings → Community.
• Delete your data: delete the app (local data is erased) and, if applicable, remove the app from iCloud in Settings → iCloud.
• Deletion / access to anonymous statistics or feedback, or any question: contact@babapp.fr.
